Boston is a really expensive city to conference in Why not go to Portsmouth NH or Portland ME. Portland has great hotels and restaurants, a compact and walkable downtown, an airport (PWM), is served by bus and train from Boston ans BOS Logan.
The Boston event will probably happen sometime in May. However, we are still in the process of finalizing the date and hotel details. Once everything is set, we’ll be sure to announce not only on our website, but also on Twitter and Facebook.
I agree about Boston! I love this city…don’t get me wrong. It is expensive and Portsmouth, NH is so pretty! We had our first small blog gathering at the Flat Bread Pizza there! Good memories!
I’m so excited for this Boston event. I would recommend that you stick with the city or surrounding suburbs. If you go to Maine or NH, you limit the availability for RI and CT bloggers to attend. Boston is pretty central.
Boston rocks! Don’t be afraid to come to Boston. It’s fantastic in the springtime – May and September are the best months to visit.
I can’t wait to meet you all. Let me know if I can help in any way with answering questions about locales or offering suggestions or doing any back stage or on stage work :)
How about 2012 we consider Long Island? It’s pretty central to everyone, people can take ferries from over the coast, drive out from Jersey, PA, upstate…..just saying! LOL. And there are a lot of us here (I’m sure of it) who’d be a great source of help in planning it!
I am so intimidated about attending conferences with other bloggers…especially to travel to one..but this would be so close- I would have to attend.
Time to dip a toe in the water!
Oh oh oh the upper easr coast! I might get up the courage for that! Manchester, NH is also another great place, airport is a breeze, great conference centers and great hotels right around the city!
I am definitely interested in attending as I am in Connecticut. Would love to speak if you need speakers. I could teach how to make money with your blog, SEO, HTML tricks, blogging as a lifestyle and more. I earn a living blogging :-)
I am really looking forward to this conference! I’ve already made it known to hubby that I intend on attending. I have so much to learn – I’d love to meet other New England bloggers before the event – maybe we can even go down to the conference together!
I would also HIGHLY recommend the Portland Maine area!!! The airport is expanding and we have great lobster too!
It’s only a hop, skip and a jump, from Boston! I’ll come to Boston if I have to – but I’d highly recommend an added date – we’d make it worth it for you!
I am very excited that this will be in Boston! I am missing the Philadelphia but this will be something to look forward to for sure! I can not wait to meet everyone and discuss what has become my life blogging and lets face it twitter too!
