I’m a SAHM blogger, who never imagined she’d be a SAHM, but now can’t picture it any other way. The title of my blog came from something I found myself saying over and over as I tried to meet everyone’s needs and fill all the roles of a wife and mother, often all at one time. The title has come to mean so much more to me. Now it reflects the fact that for my children there’s just one mommy, and I want to be the best possible mommy I can be for them. Being a parent is a little like riding a roller coaster, there are ups and there are downs. You’ll find a little of it all at There’s Just One Mommy.

I love your blog! I am following you now. Amen to that post. I feel the exact same way. I just started being a SAHM 8 weeks ago when my baby daughter was born. It is the hardest work I’ve ever done in my life!

Happy SITS Day! Love your posts, especially the one on living within your means. So many people focus on the It factor and try to keep up with the Joneses and you have to wonder the message being shared with their children when they witness that behavior.

It’s important to me to remember that we teach our children best by example. I don’t want them thinking they have to have all the latest and most expensive gadgets to be happy.

I can TOTALLY relate to the whole “never thought I’d be a SAHM” thing. That’s maybe the biggest part of my “about me” on my blog.
I always say, the toughest and most rewarding job I’ve EVER had!
