There’s Just One Mommy

Monday??  Where did the weekend go?  At least it’s a short week!

Now, let’s hop on the roller coaster and meet today’s featured blogger There’s Just One Mommy!

I’m a SAHM blogger, who never imagined she’d be a SAHM, but now can’t picture it any other way. The title of my blog came from something I found myself saying over and over as I tried to meet everyone’s needs and fill all the roles of a wife and mother, often all at one time. The title has come to mean so much more to me. Now it reflects the fact that for my children there’s just one mommy, and I want to be the best possible mommy I can be for them. Being a parent is a little like riding a roller coaster, there are ups and there are downs. You’ll find a little of it all at There’s Just One Mommy.

  1. There are so many hats to be worn everyday, but only one “Mommy” hat! A very special hat indeed :) Congrats on your SITS day – heading to your blog now!

  2. Checking her out…

  3. Can’t wait to read what’s said at bedtime because let me tell you bedtime convos are some of the most interesting ones around here. Anything to stay up for just one more minute ;). Happy belated SITS day.

  4. Good for you for being such a great example to your kids (and a lot of moms). The hardest job on earth, with payment in hugs and kisses – wouldn’t change it for all the money in the world – keep it up girl ;)

  5. Late, but I’m heading over!

  6. CONGRATULATIONS on your SITS Day! Hope it was a blast.

  7. I believe I already follow you on Facebook! Heading on over…

  8. I love the story behind the blog name!

  9. What a great blog! I am on my over to enjoy the rest. Happy SITS Day!

    • Thank you! I loved your latest post on the light at the end of the diapers! A lot of moms need to hear that…. and yes, time goes too fast!

  10. Looking forward to check out your blog :D

  11. Happy SITS Day – a day late. :)

  12. Hope you had a wonderful Sits day!!!! Looking forward to checking out your blog!

  13. I can TOTALLY relate to the whole “never thought I’d be a SAHM” thing. That’s maybe the biggest part of my “about me” on my blog. :) I always say, the toughest and most rewarding job I’ve EVER had! ;)

  14. hahaha – love the kid’s at bedtime story :)

  15. Love the blog name. Happy SITS day.

  16. I love to hear how bloggers come up with their blog names. That is always so interesting to me! Yours is just the sweetest! I really like the meaning behind it. Your mantra. I am off to check out your blog now. :) Nice to digi-meet you!

  17. Happy SITS Day! I love the title of your blog; it is SO true! I can’t wait to check out your blog!

  18. Happy SITS Day! Love your posts, especially the one on living within your means. So many people focus on the It factor and try to keep up with the Joneses and you have to wonder the message being shared with their children when they witness that behavior.

    • Thank you.
It’s important to me to remember that we teach our children best by example. I don’t want them thinking they have to have all the latest and most expensive gadgets to be happy.

  19. Love your blog! Your insights are awesome!

  20. I love your blog! I am following you now. Amen to that post. I feel the exact same way. I just started being a SAHM 8 weeks ago when my baby daughter was born. It is the hardest work I’ve ever done in my life!
