I hadn’t made any blogging resolutions because I have been too focused on other things. I’m glad I came here to read up. You all have given me some very good ideas and incentives.

  2. says

My blogging resolutions are very similar to everyone else’s, Writing and scheduling my post more in advance, start working with a brand or brands, building my readership and subscriptions. :)

Good luck to everyone on your blogging resolutions!!

  3. says

I totally got all of those in my blogging plan perhaps we all need to ban together and help hold each other acctountable. I know the Sits Girls can find a way to help achieve our goals.

  4. says

Great plans here! I want to maintain few but very regular posts and do a lot more publicity for my blog this year! I need God’s grace for this.

  5. says

I have a lot of the same goals! I’m aiming to blog three times a week, keep utilizing social media, increase traffic, and expand on my newest meme, which so far has had some great success!

  6. says

Very good resolutions! I’ve just enrolled in a Photoshop class. I knew I needed lots of help to understand the program so I can work with my pictures to enhance my blog. Just had my first class, and boy is it hard! But I will perservere! I vow to keep learning in 2013!

  7. says

I want to tell you all that when I had my SITS Day, it brought a lot of traffic to my blog and I’m starting to see opportunities to write for other sites. My goal is to continue writing content people want to read, take my blog to the next step and continue to learn all I can. I do plan to attend at least on blogging conference this year.

2 years ago, I made a goal to write 2 times a week maximum – Mondays & Thursdays is what I chose. It gave me the consistency I needed instead of just saying blog more. I’m happy to say it was a blog-changer! I’ve only missed a few posts during busy times.

Be sure & define goals with quantifiable results:
    Blog twice a week.
Use Google keyword tool to title posts
Make at least one post per week “pin-able”
Promote each blog post on Facebook, Twitter, Google+
Participate in niche forum at least 5 times a week
Set up Google Adsense & make $3 a week.
Write a review of a favorite product or book once a month with affiliate link. (Or list of products)
Find a product on ejunkie to review & promote on blog.

    Thanks for the inspiration!!!

    Love these ideas!

My goals are to continue learning and growing. I have a new blog, started in October of 2012, and I want 2013 to be the year people learn my blog’s as well as businesses names!

    Hello everyone,

I am new to The Sits Girls and I am glad I found this dynamic online community.
Thank you for your advice on 2013 blog resolutions !
I am pretty sure most of us have “Write more often” on the top of their resolution list….
But I sometimes wonder “How do you get this extra time to write more often ? ”
Blogging often requires inspiration, focus, creativity, peace of mind or extra adrenalin, discipline, time to find what we would like to write about, check our sources of information, sometimes take photos….between work family, social life, daily paperwork and bills…etc…
I just admire women who manage to blog every day or every other day…:-)

  11. says

My resolution is to be more consistent no matter if the blog entry is long or short, pictures or no pictures. And learn how to get ore traffic and comments on my blog….

  12. says

Yes! I love all of these and will add, cleaning up and tweaking my site design to the list. SITS has gotten a face lift that looks fantastic….I think everyone could benefit with continuous improvements as needed.

  13. says

I had given up publishing posts I had written in 2012 because I was discouraged by less-than-positive comments on some of my more melancholy posts. My resolution for this year is to write more, get more followers, and get tougher skin. I can do this!!

  14. says

I still haven’t figured out what I wanted to do with my blog . I wanted to bring more of what I’m already doing , but I hit a writers block . I have no idea what to write about ! ugh

  15. says

I love all these ideas! I’ll add affiliate income. I feel like I’m missing the boat, so I made an appointment with an affiliate rep for tomorrow. Excited for 2013!

  16. says

Yes, all these resolutions hit home for me too.

My goal is to work smarter, not harder. I’m reading some books on management for the entrepreneur looking for insight before I plan.

  17. says

These are all resolutions of mine in some way, shape, or form. Glad to know I have realistic resolutions in great company!
