Happy Friday, SITStahs! It’s one of the most thrilling days of the week, so let’s just get to it with our famous forum roundup, shall we?
What We Are Chatting About in the Forum
Travel Sans Kiddos
Vacationing without the kids- yay or nay? There are many good points for both arguments, but I found myself nodding along with Kimberly204:
Don’t get me wrong I love traveling with my kids but when I think of a “vacation,” I think of relaxing and not having to worry about making sure I have everything the little ones will need, or making sure we get naptime in, so on and so on.
File that one under the Deeply Wistful Sigh category.
Google Plus: Take It Or Leave It?
Gals are weighing in on a Google+ convo; is it a great promotional tool or does its occasionally baffling elements leave you cold? The Grass Skirt says:
I use it to share new posts, but I honestly don’t know that it has helped my traffic at all. Plus, I find it to be so confusing!
July’s Book Club: The Paris Wife!
And don’t forget to check in with our July Book Club selection – The Paris Wife, by Paula McLain! Amy from Counting My Kisses is heading this one up, and here’s her blurb:
Set in the 1920′s, “The Paris Wife” follows the love affair of Ernest Hemingway & his wife Hadley. Newly married, they head to Paris & get swept up in a fun & rowdy group that includes Gertrude Stein, Ezra Pound and F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald.
