This is not simply a linky party, the purpose of the “Chic Click Carnival” is to introduce yourself and one fellow peep you found using the Visit Our Peeps widget. All submissions are competing to be the host of next Thursdays click carnival who will receive hundreds of new visitors. There will be two additional winners, one for the giveaway and one for a Free 6 Month subscription to the widget. This weeks judge is Laurie from Tip Junkie
All are welcome to link a post to win a fabulous prize from a Visit Our Peeps widget Mom-prenuer. Contest ends Thursday at midnight. Entries for this carnival need to incorporate the following or it will be removed:
- A brief introduction of yourself, don’t forget to link to your favorite post.
- “My favorite peep of the week” you found using the Visit Our Peeps widget with a link to their blog and/or shop.
- Visit Our Peeps widget inside the post for people to find their new peep.
Friday, Laurie will pick three Linky participants randomly. 1. Grand Prize: One winner will be next weeks host of the Chic Click Carnival. 2. I’m not sure that we have a non-java script version, Torey. So sorry! Here is the only code that I have:
The trick to getting it to work is to copy and paste the code into the HTML box on WordPress and then click publish. If you click over to the visual side of adding a post, you’ll lose it and the HTML will appear simply as text.

Hi SITS girls!
I must be the stupidest person on the blogosphere because I can’t figure out what the point of this is. And when are we supposed to do it? Now or on Thursday? And is it connected to the problogger thing?
I mean this with all respect: I loved what SITS used to be but lately I feel like it’s losing its focus and getting kinda scattered. There’s Saturday Sharefest, Sunday link-up, this new thing on Friday, now this link thing and the problogger thing… I’d love to see SITS go back to being simpler and what it was about at the beginning.
That’s just my opinion. I still love you guys and will still comment and find other bloggers through SITS. But, really, I can’t keep up with the changes so I probably won’t be participating in the other stuff. I don’t know if any other bloggers feel like I do but hopefully I’m the only one and this will be a huge success for y’all.

And you’re right. There have been changes to SITS, which can make things difficult to follow. Please know that we are as committed to our featured blogger posts and promoting those in our community as we have always been. It is our number one priority.
To answer some of your questions, the ProBlogger challenge is separate from the Chic Chick media giveaway. The event with ProBlogger does not begin until July 19, and the Chic Chick widget promotion is happening only this week. If you’d like to participate in this week’s contest, you should write your post and link above before Thursday’s deadline.
The purpose of this promotion is to draw people’s attention to the widget, as well as to introduce bloggers to one another.
Finally, to your last question, by clicking on the Visit Our Peeps link, you can find other bloggers that you might want to mention in the post you’ll need to write in order to enter the contest.

I have a post to leave up a few days about LEO, a baby boy that only lived one day. His mom is a blogger, photographer, and fellow SITSta.
She is trying to get pictures of his name for a memorial. It’s the one year anniversary of when he was born. I have a picture up with a request to send her ones that you come up with.
I would love to see her flooded with pictures of celebrating Leo and his short little life.
