The Secret is in the Sauce (SITS) community, which was co-founded by Tiffany Romero and Heather Blair in June 2008, allows like-minded bloggers and their followers to build a support network through blog comments. With a loyal readership and reach far beyond its 6,000+ members, SITS is among the fastest growing blog communities on the web.
In 2010, Francesca Banducci and Kathy Alconcel joined Tiffany as partners in SITS and Bloggy Boot Camp. Together, the threesome is working to build a community of women, one blog at a time.
Tiffany Romero
Tiffany is a mom, wife, business owner, and entrepreneur who began blogging in March 2008. After quickly recognizing the need for a positive community for women bloggers, Tiffany co-founded The Secret is in the Sauce, an on-line sisterhood that currently has over 6,000 members and plays an influential role in the world of mommy blogging. Tiffany is an active social media personality, with over 8,000 followers on Twitter, her own blog, The R Family Diaries, and a social media consulting company, Maven Girl Media. When not on-line, Tiffany keeps busy as a small business owner, Executive Director of a private summer camp in Los Angeles, and Vice President for the Western Association of Independent Camps.
Francesca Banducci
Francesca is one of the two bloggers behind, Mayhem & Moxie, a website used to recount tales from raising her two (soon to be three) children in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to joining the on-line world, Francesca had various work experiences, including a stint at a winery in Italy and many years at the biotech company, Genentech. Since beginning to blog in October 2008, Francesca has received multiple awards, including recognition by Nielsen Online as one of its Top 50 Power Moms in 2009. Her interest in the marketing world prompted her to earn her MBA in the field in 2009 and launch her own consulting company, Social Girl Media, in 2010. You can find Francesca on Twitter @SITSGirlF.
Kathy Alconcel
Kathy, aka Mama Kat, jokingly refers to herself as an attention craving poodle on her blog, Mama’s Losin’ It. She was inspired to begin blogging back in 2007, not only because of her life-long love for writing, but also as a way to stay connected to her work experience as an English teacher. Kathy is particularly savvy at integrating humor and heart into her posts, as evidenced by her wildly successful Writer’s Workshop. In order to participate in this weekly meme, bloggers select a topic from a series of writing prompts that Kathy dreams up, create a post, and then link to her site in order to increase their own web traffic. When not working on her blog or on Twitter, Kathy keeps busy as the owner of a daycare business.

Welcome to the SITStahood!
