Meet Cynthia from Commonplace Crazy. She claims to be a grandmother, but we’re having a terrible time believing it. She is just too pretty and young for that title!
Commonplace Crazy is a warm and cozy kitchen where I chat about spoiling grandchildren, teaching good grammar, and loving life. Through it all runs a sense of humor that laughs at life’s little absurdities, because in my life, crazy is commonplace. I love having readers come by for a visit, a cup of coffee, and a good laugh together.
Here are three not-to-be-missed posts from Cynthia:
- Got good grammar? Because as a former English teacher, Cynthia does and she’s super funny about the topic.
- Cynthia makes the world’s greatest pie crust. And you can too with this post.
- Keeping blogging in the family: Turns out that Cynthia’s daughter has her own blog too.

Happy Belated SITS Day! I can’t wait to read your posts! As an English major, I find myself sweating bullets quite often when I read through things people publish online. Lol…sometimes I can’t believe there are people that have matriculated and still don’t know the proper usage of “there, their, they’re”. It can drive one insane!!
I LOVE the grammar angle! As a fellow English teacher and mom blogger, I am so into you!
English with a funny-bone! Love it!
Great blog! Thanks for sharing!
Heading over now…
Happy Belated SITS Day! Headed over to check out your blog now 🙂
Happy SITS day Cynthia! Enjoyed your post about your conversation with your daughter about your blog. Seems you have a fun and sweet relationship with your daughter.

NO WAY is she a grandma. Nu-uh! 🙂 Happy SITS day, can’t wait to check out her blog. And as a full-time editor, I understand what it means to be a member of the grammar police.
I wish I had you as an English teacher!
