Are you a mom who deals with food allergies? Today’s featured blogger has a child allergic to wheat, which keeps her on her toes!

Hi everyone, I’m LaShawn. I started blogging about 4 years ago while TTC, and boy has it evolved! My blog is about the struggles and joys of finding balance in my life as a mom of a toddler allergic to wheat( yes, that’s right, WHEAT!), a wife, and a full time nurse. I love LOVE taking photos, and I’m never without my iPhone camera or my Canon. I’m not perfect, and never will be. But I think that’s what makes life interesting. Thanks for stopping by!

Congrats on your feature! We struggle daily with food allergies. Our children are allergic to peanuts, nuts, eggs, seeds and green peas. I understand the stresses you must be going through to keep your child safe. Good for you to become Gluten-Free! It was hard when we removed all alergens from the house…but the good news is that it gets better (although I do miss peanut butter and fresh green peas). I must admit that I sneak an occasional hard boiled egg when I’m in the house alone and then spend my time srubbing the pot! Best wishes to you and your special guy.

Happy SITS day! I have a very close family member as well who has a wheat allergy, so I also know about label checking. Great blog!

Happy SITS day (a day late!) I’m sorry to check in tardy πŸ™‚ My kids are on the autism spectrum, and that can sometimes go hand in hand with the need for a special diet. I’m very familiar with checking packages and then just showing them to the other mothers to make sure I’m not going to make the other kids sick.
