Howdy ladies! How fun is Spring Fling? Yesterday’s activity was How to Use Twitter. I met so many new tweeps!
Now for the real reason you came by- to support a SITStah!
Meet Amanda of Ninth Street Notions.
She’s done something still outstanding on my Bucket List- Learn to Sew.
I began teaching myself to sew last year, and I needed some place to share my projects. Thus began my blog, where I’ve found a great place to share crafty tutorials as well as recipes. Everything I share is easily created by a novice because guess what? I have no idea what I’m doing, but I’m sharing it all on the blog.
Take a look at the beauties:

Interesting.. =D I learned sewing when I was in school but not really an expert. Anyway, happy SITS day!
On my way!
Happy SITS day!!! I love sewing and am very much a novice!!
Happy SITS day, and I’m heading over right now to check out this sewing thing…I flunked that part of Home Ec. so I must live vicariously through others.
Sewing….yikes. My daughter would love it.
Loved the clutch and how easily you broke everything down with pictures and easy to follow directions. I am not crafty so I appreciate when something is broken down in very easy to follow steps. Happy SITS day!
You had me at Snickerdoodles…Happy SITS Day!

Happy SITS day! I can sew a button… Does that count as sewing? LOL. Okay, I can sew enough that my daughter likes the doll clothes I’ve made her…
Off to read your blog.
I wish I knew how to sew better. I can do a straight line and that’s it.
Rollin and Callin then headin over to your blog! Bless, Leslie

Happy SITS day girl! Congrats on learning to sew! I love sewing! π
Hey Amanda! There’s nothing like learning as you you go along. I love that you’re taking on sewing; something I never had the patience to sit through. I’m one of those… I like thee most complicated Vogue pattern imaginable AND I want to make it today (in a matter of an hour or two) and I want to wear it TONIGHT. Now you KNOW that’s not gonna work! So… see, I admire you for taking on sewing (thinkof the money that you’re saving… and I’m not).
It’s gangster cool to eMeet you here on SITS and what’s even cooler is…
YOU’RE TODAY’S FEATURED BLOGGER! You go!
Bravo to you!
I can do a little stitching by hand, but I’m no professional! I’m looking forward to reading your blog!
Congrats on your SITS day, Amanda! I’ve been following your blog for a bit – love your linky parties – and am so excited for you on your featured day.

Yay for creative blogs!!! Off to check it out…
Learning to sew is on my list of “to do” as well!
happy sits day!
LOVE IT! I have a fabulous vintage machine that works beautifully… but I don’t know how to use it. So want to learn though!
A girl after my own heart … a novice! Heading over.
A while back I decided to make a list. One of the easier, but not yet mastered, things was to learn to hard boil an egg. It changed my life. (silly but true) I need to get a bit more daring. Can’t wait to read about someone else’s.
Happy SITS day, Amanda – love the photo! π
I love this! I’m just learning to sew, taking on a slip cover for an old chair as my first project…your blog is inspiration for my new projects!!! π
Happy SITS day! I’m excited to see all the beautiful things you’ve made. I’m headed over to your blog. π
