Welcome today’s feature blogger No Holding Back. She’s waiting for you to come join her craziness!
I’m a mid 30s mom of 4, including a set of identical twins. We lost one of our twins two days after they were born to complications from Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS). I began writing as an outlet for my grief and to raise awareness about TTTS and found that I really enjoyed blogging and connecting with other bloggers. I used to work in Counter Terrorism, and now I stay at home, which is often a more challenging job but doesn’t leave me a paranoid wreck! I write about life after loss, finding joy, funny things kids do, grief, embracing the writer inside of me, and all things to do with raising three munchkins… Nayner Bug (5), Jelly Bean (3), and Tiny (1). Come join our craziness!

I can only imagine what you must have gone through. I think it is wonderful that you are sharing information about TTTS–I had never heard of it before. Enjoy your SITS day ๐
I’m sorry for your loss, but think that by sharing in such an open way you are not only finding release for your own grief, but helping others.
I think you are a courageous and strong woman. Happy SITS Day to you!
happy Sits day to you! whoop whoop!!
Happy SITS Day! It’s great to see you here today – hope you enjoy your day!
Happy SITS day to you! So sorry to hear about your loss. I am from a family with two sets of twins (and my dad is one, too!). I lost my brother about 5 years ago from a car accident (he’s not my twin–I still have mine, but the loss is still tremendous). All of life’s challenges are learning opportunities in disguise.
Looks like you’ve found the positive (and it looks like you have 3 very positive little sunnybunnies in your picture!) and are inspiring and motivating others from your loss. Love it! You can either let it define you, distract you, or detract from your life, or you can grow from it and create a more meaningful life (I do this for a living–can you tell?).
Kudos to you for turning your grief into something wonderful and healing, and for helping others in their times of pain.
Thank you Nicole. Trust me, there are days I’d rather just crawl under the covers and not come out, but I don’t really have that option with my “sunnybunnies” as you called them! ๐ I am so sorry for the loss of your brother. Loss is always hard, but you are right – we can choose how we go on with our lives. Thanks for the sweet words!
I love her blog. Such a great choice for the fb. Happy sits day!
Awwww, thanks Melissa! That is so sweet! Thank you!
Happy SITS day! You have much to blog about…looking forward to visiting!
And I also write about some fitness and weight loss stuff too – something for everyone! Thank you!!
So excited that you’re having your SITS day today! Already following you. ๐
Thank you Rachel! And I, you! By the way, I made that Chicken Basil Caprese recipe last night – HUGE HIT!
I’m so sorry for your loss.
Happy SITS day! I’m sure you’ll get a lot of comment love today ๐
Thank you so much!
So happy to see you here, Alexa! Have a great SITS Day!
Alison – thank you so much! I’ve been busy trying to implement the changes you suggested. Stuck on the font… but I hope you noticed some other changes? You rock and I hope Little Love is taking OFF!
It is wonderful that you were able to find a way to release your grief while at the same time find your inner writer. Kudos to you!
Thank you so much! I have become obsessed with writing! ๐
