Good morning and happy Thursday!
Organizational tips for moms? That’s today’s featured blogger’s specialty. Say hi to Sharon of Mom of 6!
When you are manning the mothership in a household of six children (currently 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, and 5 years old) you have to be one seriously organized Mama! Over the years, I have been forced to dig deep and come up with ways to keep my act together- like creating some family routines to get us out the door in the morning and using a computerized calendar system to keep track of where everyone needs to be.Β Momof6 is packed with “How To” ideas on such topics as surviving family road trips, hosting at-home birthday parties, and even how to hold your own summer camp! Whether you have one child or a half-dozen…these tips work for families of all sizes!

Wow…6 kiddos and organized! π
Happy Thursday ya’ll! Hope everyone’s day is going smoothly! Will be dropping by Sharon’s site shortly!!! π
It’s big family week here at SITS! π
6 kids! Even if you count my dog and my oldest as two kids in one and even add my husband – I’m only at 5. OMG! How does she do it? I am going over now to figure that out.
I really love the button!
I’m barely keeping up with my TWO little guys! π
I love organizational ideas and tips. With a family of 6 kids I’m sure these tips are tried, tested and true!
As always I am amazed by the Mom’s that manage to organize their troops of this size. Just think what they could achieve if they managed a few other areas of life right?
Having two kids is throwing me for a loop so I can’t imagine 6! Props to the super momma!
like most i am tres impressed that you keep it all together 9and well) with 6 kiddos. i have 0 and i’m a hot mess!
Whoa, I can hardly stay organized with two kids (and they are practically adults.) Gold star for you!!
I’m really curious to check out her organizational tips – and Dear Cablevision – I already feel for her just from the title. Cable co. customer service and I do NOT get along (and I used to work for a cable co.)
I have to say that I do feel sorry for the folks that work in customer service at companies like Cablevision…. it’s really not their fault that the systems in place STINK.. yet they have to put up with customers like me who are angry about it! That could not have been a fun job!
Happy Thursday…off to say hi to the FB! π
Better her then I!
Good morning, all, from Maine!
6?! How fun! You are blessed…can’t wait to check out the blog!
Love her “got my tips from mom of six” button!!
Checking in! I’ve been working lately – or trying to work – on my prof. site, http://christaterry.com. I don’t know if my husband’s business trip will make this easier or harder. Then again, I only have one kid π
Mom of 6, I think a full time job, I like her list and the bin idea is great….
Yay Sharon! I’m excited to see you featured today!
That is one brave and noble woman (smile). Six children and organized, too. Wowzers!
Happy SITS day Sharon! I don’t know how you do it with 6 kids, but I’m off to your blog to find out how!!
I love that you had three of your own and then adopted. I think that’s really fantastic. I bet your household is never dull!
Thanks Misty…. but I do have to tell you… all 6 are “my own”.. it’s just that three are biological. π
Mom of 6, wow….you do need some serious organizational skills. I have my hands full with only two of them plus two nephews after school during the week. I need to learn so tips and tricks from this mom.
Happy SITS day! I could use some organization in my life.
SO Looking forward to reading this Blog, I thought with 2 I had my hands full, looking forward to getting some new perspective and ideas π
Happy SITS day Sharon! Have a fab one!
I’m a mom of 2 and I could use some organizational tips!
Six? Six?? Wow. I already salute you π
My two children are 14 months apart, it sounds like all 6 of yours are a year apart, too! Wow!
Love being organized…can’t wait for the great tips! Going to check it out.
Happy SITS day to the organized mom.
LisaDay
Happy Thursday everyone! I love blogs about big families!
She has to be an amazing lady…six! Happy SITS day!
I can always use more organization tips!
I could use some of her tips! Definitely sounds like it will be a helpful blog.
I love hearing what works for other Mom’s with many children as I have 6 kids too. π
Whoo Hoo! Kindred spirits! I’m heading over to read your blog too!
Holy Cow! Six kids in six years! I’m speechless!
I have so much to learn from the featured blogger.
Congrats on the feature Mom of 6! Wow, I bet you have some amazing, real-life tips. Going to check out your website now…
Cheers,
Suz
Lots of big famillies this week! I’m loving it! We definitely need to be more organized, so I can’t wait to read more!
Good morning! Almost the weekend :):)
XOXO
Wow. I feel so inferior for being disorganized with only two kids, two dogs and one husband!
No way- there is no competition on # of kids… no awards are given. All of us have incredibly busy, crazy, happy, frustrating, and exhausting lives. We’re all in this parenting thing together! I’ve just really “hit my stride” with this whole Mom-organization thing… and I thought that others would like to hear about some of the tips I’ve picked up along the way!
happy Thursday!!
good for you
wow big family , may god bless you all
6 babies? wow… I stuggle to stay organized with TWO…LOL… off to read. Hope y’all have a fantastic day! xxx
How in the world – your children are a year apart? And you have SIX of them? Lady, you just won the Woman of the Millenium Award!!! π
Heading over to get some tips. I need ’em – and I’ve only got two. Oh, and a dog… Happy SITS Day!
You know, I felt that once you got to three kids- they outnumbered the parents anyway… so you were already dealing with all of the juggling and balancing that goes with it. Each time, the decision to add another child into the family didn’t seem hard to imagine at all. But I will admit, at 6 I think I’ve hit my limit! π
Happy Sits day! heading over now!
Checking in … wow she was pregnant for quite a stretch! I thought my 7 years straight of either being pregnant or nursing was tiresome! I’ll have to go check out her tips!
Nah- you’ve got me beat with the 7 years straight of nursing and being pregnant. Although I will tell you that the adoption process was harder mentally and emotionally than any of my pregnancies! The agency process, the application process, the US gov’t process is daunting and stressful. Of course, it didn’t stop us from doing it three times in three years! π
WOW. …WOW. And I thought my hands were full! I can’t imagine going through the physical part of pregnancy with so many little ones! She must have been dead tired!
Well, I AM often dead tired! But I was only pregnant with my three oldest children… and had them all within 33 months! But the next three kids joined our family through international adoption. So it was a bit easier on my body than perhaps what you were thinking! π
