Kristy is the mom and blogger behind Pinot and Pampers. Β She believes thatΒ there is no better way to spend one’s time than by laughing (and drinking wine). She also believes that Supermom is a myth, and that the more we dispel that myth, the more comfortable we’ll be mothering from our own hearts.
WhatΒ inspiredΒ theΒ titleΒ ofΒ yourΒ blog?
I have a little maniac running around here in Pampers, and I also love wine. I feel that these two things go together well.Β Β I do love Pinot Noir and Pinot Grigio, however, my very favorite wine really isΒ Cabernet Sauvignon.Β Β Pampers and Pinot sounded a little more catchy than Pampers and Cabernet.
WhatΒ wouldΒ youΒ doΒ withΒ anΒ entireΒ dayΒ allΒ toΒ yourself?
Ahhh, time is the most treasured resource of all.Β Β I would sleep in.Β Β Upon waking, I would get some coffee and go back to bed.Β Β I would blog, write, watch a little crappy morning television that I never usually see.Β Β I would do this until lunchtime at least.Β Β Then, I would have lunch or go to lunch.Β Β I would be a βlady that lunches!βΒ Β Then, I would watch a movie or go to a movie because watching movies is one of my most favorite things in the whole wide world and I just donβt get to do that much with a little maniac around.Β Β It would feel so decadent to then go toΒ Happy HourΒ or drinks and dinner with some girlfriends.Β Β What a fabulous idea!Β Β I need to start planningβ¦
WhatΒ areΒ yourΒ favoriteΒ kindΒ ofΒ blogΒ postsΒ toΒ write?
I love to write humor.Β Β I aim to make my readers laugh.Β Β I also want my readers to relate and think, βOh, I know just what she is talking about!βΒ Β And then I want them to think, βShe is so witty!Β Β Genius!Β Β How does she think of these things?!β
I do have a few posts that are a little more serious.Β Β I am a writer and working on a novel.Β Β I love to write fiction and poignant pieces that either make your heart stir or cause you to think about your life lessons a little more.
HaveΒ youΒ metΒ anyoneΒ onlineΒ whoΒ you’dΒ beΒ willingΒ toΒ meetΒ inΒ person?
Lots of people!Β Β I would love to go to a blogging conference; I have never been.Β Β Blogging has been a great way to make more βfriendsβ and just have lots of fun!

That is a catchy title! Your son is adorable by the way. Ok on to your blog. I love blogs that are humorous, especially those that involve children. Sometimes I feel Like we get caught up in the serious and fail to see the humor in things. Needless to say great blog

Well I’ve had enough nappies today – is it time for the wine yet?

I am full of love reading all of the comments. I love how people have commented on old posts, and I am streaming through multiple places reading it all. Thank you, SITStahs! I will be returning the support as soon as I finish dabbing my eyes and nose, sniff, sniff. π

I remember those days! A glass of pinot or cab would have been lovely. π
I love this interview, I can really identify with the writer and I *love* the blog name! Genius!
What an adorable little guy!! Anything involving a Pampers diaper should also involve a little Pinot!!
Loved this blog! I SO relate to mommy madness…
Mae
I love the blog title! My pamper days have been over for a while but I do like a good glass of wine now and then. I’ve never been to a blog conference either but I did sign up for the Bloggy Bootcamp in Boston so I’m pretty excited about that! Enjoy your spotlight day!

Just as long as baby doesn’t get into the wine I don’t see a problem here.

Love it! I am also a proponent of diapers and wine going well together π
