When it comes to writing successfully for an online audience, we have a secret to tell you.
The key to success is really quite simple.
Are you ready?
Write from your heart.
Steps for Successful Writing
So, you want to be a writer, huh? I know what you’re saying: “No, I want to be a blogger.” Well, guess what? In a world in which WordPress is the new Random House, it’s pretty much the same thing. In fact, some would argue that it’s harder to create a successful blog than it is to publish a book.
And maintaining a really successful blog? That’s like penning a New York Times bestseller. A person could write 100 different blog entries, each packed with different blog writing tips, but the tip I’m going to focus on today is writing from the heart. That’s because the most successful blogs don’t just cover a specific topic, they form relationships between the blog readers and the blog writer. And the strongest relationships come from the heart.

Fran, you have been such an encouragement to me to write from the heart. Just had to say that here, before I go and visit Mommaontherocks.
Hope you guys enjoy it!
This sounds like a really good read, going to to check it out right now
I agree with this! People seem to like personal as well as helpful.
I agree as well. I find if the subject is after my heart, I write so much better!
Amen!
I am excited to read this whole post, but had to chime in and say I definitely agree as well! I get much more feedback on posts I write from the heart, and always feel fantastic about myself, when I take the time to craft a post and put my feelings out there for the universe. Agree with Ashley above – people connect to story.
Off to read the full tip here but I just have to say that I believe this is so true. My most successful blog entries to date are by far the ones that I have been passionate while writing. And it shows in hits, comments, shares, etc. Because people connect to story.
