Thanks for sharing these opportunities!
I think its great but it makes it hard to compete with thousands of other women especially if you don’t have a high amount of page views. I tried for the young mom one though.
Point made!
Page views are a part of it, but we look at the entire package for a blogger. Maybe your page views are not super high, but do you have a stronger following on Twitter? Or maybe another social media platform?
Also, what is your niche and how effectively are you reaching your readers?
We have definitely offered opportunities to bloggers who are super new to the space and may not have more than a couple hundred page views per month.
In the end, there really is not a formula, so throw your name out there and see what happens!
I just went through a re-design and have noticed my numbers going up a little bit. I’m tweaking old posts and getting some better SEO going. I’m a lifestyle blogger who bounces between topics.
Just comes down to what these companies are looking for.
I love that you’re providing opportunities to bloggers but it would be a great benefit if there were a more diverse selection available. Too much is geared to moms/pregnant moms which makes it difficult for those of us without children or will not be expecting any time.
I’ll be keeping an eye out for other opportunities in the future.
I’m with you Kim! I would love to see some opportunities that will work for those of us with out kids, unless you count fur-kids.
Funny. Out of the opportunities we’ve been able to coordinate for our community, only a small percentage have been geared towards moms. Most are simply looking for women.
Looking at this post, though, it certainly doesn’t appear that way. Sorry about that!
Be sure you are signed up in our paid blogging database. That is where we primarily pass along information. Not always on the site.
We definitely keep non-moms our priority list. Thanks for the feedback!
Oh i would so be interested in the pregnant woman/new moms if i was in the US! 🙁 x
Me too… sadly so many opportunities that disqualify those that live in Canada and other countries. 🙁
Sorry, girls!
For this opportunity, we’re working with a major retailer in the U.S. and participation will be contingent on people getting to a store.
However, that being said, we are working with bloggers outside the continental U.S., including Canada, Hawaii, and even Alaska.
Just make sure you are in our paid blogging database and you’ll be notified as new opportunities open up.
Cool! I’ll do that. Thanks for letting me know.
