Welcome back to the second day of our holiday event! Before we turn our attention to the giveaway, we wanted to first introduce our SITStahs to Robyn from Imperfect Nest.
Robyn’s blog is dedicated to all of the pretty things in life. In fact, her passion for color and design spills into all aspects of her world…including holiday decor.
Today on her blog, Robyn is showing us how to make a wreath from coffee filters. Sound a bit odd? Perhaps, but wait until you get a look at the results…
After a little work, you too can have a beautiful wreath to display anywhere in your home. Check out Robyn’s post to learn how!
Now, about that giveaway…
On the second day of SITSmas, my SITStahs gave to me:
A giveaway from Tina Steinberg…
One of our lucky readers will soon be the owner of a beautiful Little Love Charmer Pendant with a short inscription included on back.
Coupling your child’s fingerprint with Tina Steinberg’s organic, antiqued jewelry leads to a simple, yet unordinary piece that you will treasure always.
I had an amazing opportunity to work with Tina when she came to my town and invited me to gather friends together for a mini jewelry party. Typically she completes the process by mail and sends her clients an easy to follow kit used for retrieving the finger print you want on your pendant, but I had the pleasure of meeting her in person. It was great to learn about the process and watching her talk to the kids about what she does.
I’m thrilled with the way the pendants turned out and am so glad I have their little prints all to myself. Just imagine how precious these will be when my babies are all grown up!
To enter to win your own Little Love Charmer Fingerprint Pendant, simply leave a comment on this post naming a treasured keepsake you’ve kept.
For extra entries, you can:
- Leave a comment on Tina’s Facebook page telling her whose little finger you’d like to imprint on a pendant.
- Leave a comment on Robyn’s featured blog post describing how to make a holiday wreath.
- Tweet this message: Merry SITSmas! Iโm celebrating the season with 12 Days of giveaways from @SITSGirls: http://bit.ly/ib05gE.
This giveaway will be open for 24 hours and is limited to U.S. residents only. We will choose one winner at random and contact her via e-mail. All SITSmas winners will be announced on our Facebook page daily.
If you see a piece from Tina’s collection that you simply must have, then why wait on the giveaway? Tina is generously offering our readers free shipping for today only. Simply place your order today using the code, SITS, and your items will be sent to you at no cost.

A treasured keepsake that I have kept would be a stuffed animal. It is a pink elephant and it was given to my mom when she was in the hospital after having me. My grandpa was a florist and he put the elephant in with some flowers for my mom.
I commented on her facebook page
Really awesome idea.

Keepsakes I’ve kept are: hospital hat, first pacifier, hospital bracelets, lock of hair, ultrasound pictures, book I read when I was pregnant and home outfit… for each kid. I keep them in separate boxes and just add stuff as we go. I also have their first birthday candle, etc. ๐
I want one. Please.

The finger print idea is amazing. A different take on the personalized gifts.
The fingerprint idea is genius!
Unless she’s actually a master criminal, storing up people’s fingerprints for use in dastardly deeds.
Then action must be taken.
But I’m too lazy.
So, who’s up for it?
These are very cute!
I cannot WAIT for Christmas! Time with family, time off from work… it can’t come soon enough!
Who would have thought of making a wreath with coffee filters? Can’t wait to check out more. And pretty jewelry, I love the fingerprint idea!
I have my grandmother’s class ring and love it dearly. It’s inscribed with her (then) nickname, “Red”, for her beautiful red hair.
My keepsake is a very old cookbook my grandmother and I made sugar cookies from.
that’s some really pretty jewelry ๐

One of my treasured keepsakes is the boquet holder from my wedding. It’s an old fashioned silver tussy mussy.
My grandmother’s rings…
I have a hope chest with many treasured keepsakes – my mother’s wedding veil, the newspaper from the day my son was born, my flutes, letters from my grandmother, love letters from my husband….
I still have my baby blanket! Someone made it for me and I had it in the hospital when I was born and now it’s in my daughter’s room.

Commented on her wreath post!
I’ve kept the first stuffed animal I ever slept with!
I actually have a necklace that my grandmother bought when I was born and I wear it all the time…it’s an antique now!!!
I love these pendants! How cute. I keep way too much stuff, it’s not even funny. I keep onesies from when my kids were newborns because it’s crazy how fast they grow, and I can never get rid of the little newborn onesies (well the ones that survive the baby spitups, of course)
Happy Tuesday!
I don’t keep much (I’m a bit of a minimalist), but I still have my mom’s 7th-grade composition book from school. Tucked into one of the pages is a letter she wrote to her friend at the time. It’s adorable!
Cool wreath … and giveaway!!
I don’t have anything from when I was a kid, but I keep stuff from my kids, I have tons of artwork, hair from cuts, and the newest is my oldest’s baby teeth
My favorite ornament as a kid – a blown glass ornament filled with red wine-like liquid. I always was the one to hang it on the tree, in the same spot each year. My mother gave it to me when I got married. I’ll keep it forever. =)
I keep all the cards my husband has given me.
I forgot to answer….I have a lot of things (I’m a pack rat afterall). I have doll house furniture that my grandpap made for me, many moons ago. A watch that my father bought me when I turned 13. I have his pocket knives that he used to carry around. I have too many things of my own children to even begin to mention ๐
It’s nice to see what everyone likes to hold on too, valuable or not.
Those pendants are adorable! Busy day here and the J house, lots of cleaning, laundry and organizing…boy, that sounds just like any other day!
Check out my Little One Books giveaway…Super low entries, ends 12/5

Hope everyone has a great day!
I’m so sentimental, I keep everything with a family history. I have a baby sweater that my grandmother knitted, my baby book, a blanket that my mom’s friend knit when I was a baby… I could go on and on. I actually have bins in the basement of all my kids’ special items.
I have a standup jewelry box my dad gave me.. he passed suddenly in 2003.. and my pea coat and this jewelry box he gave me are the last gifts I have from him.. so near and dear.. I love the necklace… LOve the sitmas idea.
Happy Tuesday, SITStahs!!

I have a jewelry box my baby brother made me years ago. Its ugly, but its special. ๐
My best friend gave me a hand-stamped bracelet with each of my boy’s name and a little stone for their birthstone. A perfect gift for me!
