Some other photo apps I definitely recommend to bloggers and other people alike are Photofy (simply the best app for designing graphics for your blog, it literally has millions of pre-designed backgrounds, graphics, overlays, fonts, etc. It is really my go to app when i design graphics for my blog. You definitely gotta try it out. And it is free!!!), Over (I think it is 99 cents right now.one of the best apps for adding text to pictures, it also automitically saves your photos in “Instagram” format, so Instagram won’t crop them later on), Moldiv (amazing collages), and Photoviva (paid app around $3.99.for the artists, since it lets you hand draw and paint on the photo, amazing pictures come out). I truly recommend all of these and I use them everyday.

  • tremendous Post. Really resourceful content. Keep on Sharing.

  • […] better pictures. Use some fun photo apps. I am gonna check these […]

Great list! I’ve been using PicMonkey for awhile but I would love something on my phone so I can just upload and go.

  • Cassandra says:

One I use almost all the time – not just for photos of people – is FaceTune. Best app for extremely simple editing. I’ve downloaded many an editing app since and I don’t like a lot of them compared to FaceTune. It’s about $5 in the app store – available for iPhone and iPad currently and it allows you to smooth features, erase blemishes, re-shape, change colours for individual areas, apply blur, spot-apply light/effects, whiten teeth, almost every photo I take goes through FaceTune before going to Instagram. Hey!
I completely agree with loving FaceTune. It is one of the most professional photo editing apps. My favorite feature is that you can sharpen only parts of your photo by swiping with your finger on different areas ( that way you don’t have to sharpen the entire photo). By the way FaceTune is now available for Android as well!

  • Thanks for this! I have been looking for some new photo editor apps! I am going to check them all out now.

oh my gosh, never heard any of these before..i think i’m going to try rhonna designs to see what it can offer that picmonkey does not…

    thanks!

  • Adrian says:

Snapseed is my drug of choice. It is simple to use, doesn’t take up a lot of room on your phone and gives you a lot of control without too many confusing options. And you can either save to your photo library or post to social media. When I got it, it was about $4 bucks, not sure if that’s still the price. However, I’m going to try out some of these and see if I like any of them better.

    • Cassandra says:

I downloaded snap seed and found it really confusing 🙁 I’ve since deleted it, but may try it again sometime. Have you checked out FaceTune? It’s about the same price and super easy to use. A monkey could literally use it. And it comes with demo pictures and walkthroughs.

  • Charlotte says:

I’d like to try squaready. I hate having to crop all of my images on Instagram! Sounds great. Thanks so much for sharing; off to play now 🙂

  • Kakers says:

I like the A Beautiful Mess app and InstaSize so I can have full length photos in Instagram.

  • Jamie says:

All great apps!! VSCOcam and snapseed are my go to apps. I love the selective adjustment option on snapseed. You can make edits to a portion of your picture. For instance, if you want to brighten up someone’s face in a picture, but not the entire picture, you can do that.

  • Thanks for sharing these. I’m always on the hunt for new photo editing apps.

  • Kam kay says:

As many others, I also don’t edit pictures on my phone, but I might need this list in future, so will be keeping this list and other recommendations handy!

  • Katie J says:

I was just looking for a better app to edit pictures before adding them to instagram! Thanks so much for posting this! I came late to using instagram and see others doing some really cool stuff. I’m excited to check these out!

  • Love all these, but my number one photo editing app has to be SNAPSEED 🙂

  • I love PicTapGo, I actually use this company for my photography business as well and their mobile action app is great! There are lots of “filters” and it’s really easy to use! LOVE vsco and Beautiful Mess as well!

  • Beth says:

I don’t usually edit on my phone, but on my computer I use picmonkey. I will definitely try one of these. Thanks!

  • Kriselle says:

A Beautiful Mess app (now ABM) is a great app as well! It is similar to Rhonna Designs–all dainty and cute stuff to edit with!

  • Jhanis says:

I’m currently using Pixlr Express and it’s great! I’ve always wanted to try Rhonna Designs but the last time I checked it wasn’t available for Android so I guess I have to wait till it is. 🙂

  • Good to know! I rarely do any editing from my phone, so I’ll keep these in mind for when and if I do. Thanks for sharing!
